We understand that every child is unique and learns in their own way. Our one-of-a-kind evaluation system toward learner-centred pedagogy on the eight critical skill sets, namely, Intellectual, Logical, Numerical, Observational, Interpersonal, Naturalistic, Linguistic and Kinesthetic.
Students have textbooks in digital form and enjoy Tablet learning and Smart TV teaching. It is combined with practical lessons, lowers the burden of the school bag and enhances curiosity.
Outside the key subjects, we teach French and Astronomy to enhance the global perspective and to stimulate scientific inquiry and critical contemplation.
We teach outside the classroom in the Botany and Zoology gardens and the curriculum stipulates in Physics, Chemistry and Literature. This encourages the pupils to be creative and inquisitive.
Students at Alpha International School worked on yet another environmentally sustainable Mud House construction blend with science, math and environmental education. From geometry, soil chemistry and timber calculations to design, construction and structural integrity, students explored several, even unexpected, applications of learned concepts. The creative, constructive teamwork built a strong and positive relationship with the environment. It was more than construction and it became a living classroom of inspiration valuing mindfulness, sustainable innovation and experiential education beyond textbooks.
